Zattoo Expands Its Reach in Europe with New Partnerships

Zattoo, a leading provider of TV and video services, continues to shape the future of streaming for operators and internet service providers in 13 countries across Europe. The company's latest partnerships with Kabelnoord and Digitec Galaxus are set to further solidify its position in the market.

In the Netherlands, Kabelnoord, a provider of internet, television, and telephony in Northern Netherlands, is upgrading the TV streaming services for its 25,000 customers with Zattoo's TV-as-a-Service solution. Kabelnoord chose Zattoo due to its comprehensive, hosted, and managed unicast platform.

Zattoo's TV offerings are available on a wide range of platforms, including Apple iOS and tvOS, Android TV and Android mobile, and in web browsers. The company has recently launched Universal TV (UTV), a new generation of its big-screen app designed to deliver a consistent user experience across all TV platforms and devices. Android TV is the first platform to launch with Zattoo's UTV.

In Switzerland, Digitec Galaxus, the largest online retailer in the country, is entering the entertainment market. The company has chosen Zattoo as a strong partner for the expansion of their range of services. Digitec Galaxus is creating a TV brand on a scalable infrastructure, enabling B2B customers with tailored wholesale products and support.
