Amex Blue Cash Preferred Card Expands Cash-Back Rewards on Streaming Services

As of January 30, 2025, the card offers 6% cash-back on over 30 different streaming service subscriptions, including popular options like Amazon Music Unlimited, Hulu, Netflix, Spotify, and YouTube TV. The list has been expanded to include AMC+, BritBox, Discovery+, MGM+, and Starz as newly eligible services.
Cardholders can earn 6% cash-back rewards on subscription payments made directly to these services. However, it's important to note that bundled or third-party billed subscriptions might not qualify.
In addition to the 6% cash-back rewards, cardholders can receive a monthly statement credit of up to $10 on enrolled Blue Cash Preferred cards for Disney streaming subscriptions paid at Disneyplus.com, Hulu.com, or Plus.espn.com. This is separate from the 6% cash-back rewards.
