Mathematics is the New Cool!

Today, June 6, Rosobrnadzor held a press conference to discuss the initial results of the 2025 Unified State Exam (EGE). They revealed that a whopping 300,000 grads nationwide took the profile mathematics exam for the first time. Let's dive into the deets, courtesy of "Komsomolka"!

Math Rules Supreme

According to Anzor Muzaev, Rosobrnadzor head, a whopping 277,000 graduates sat for the math exam on May 27. That's a fantastic leap of 30,000 from the previous year! He proudly declared that more than 60% of participants scored above 60 points, showcasing their readiness to excel in engineering and IT specialties.

Stanislav Bliznyuk, head of T-Bank, hopped in to confirm the significance of this math surge. He pointed out that math sharpens the mind and fosters innovative problem-solving abilities. Also, it provides multiple career paths, from science and engineering to various industries.

Bliznyuk couldn't stress enough the role teachers play in all this success. To honor their hard work, T-Bank has dished out grants to math, physics, and informatics educators for years. The fund has already exceeded 70 million rubles and is set to expand soon.

Growing the Engineering Wizards of Tomorrow

T-Bank is thrilled to witness such a math phenomenon. Besides supporting educators, the company invests in numerous endeavors to promote engineering and technical education at all levels.

Apart from helping teachers, T-Bank is involved in tons of school and university projects, promoting the popularization of exact sciences, backing the Olympiad movement, and organizing practice-oriented Olympiads such as the National Data Analysis Olympiad DANO and the International Industrial Development Olympiad PROD.

In addition, T-Bank runs a program called T-Generation, featuring platforms like "Mathematics Solves" for 4th to 6th graders. They've also introduced the "Number T" trainer in their mobile app to help students prepare for the Unified State Exam.

The Central University and Beyond

Alongside numerous educational projects, T-Bank is also backing the Central University, which was established with support from over 50 major companies in Russia. This institution focuses on preparing versatile specialists of the future, advancing engineers and technicians who can drive science forward and tackle various industries, from finance and marketing to AI and beyond.

According to Bliznyuk, human capital is the heart of any company, so the more young, talented individuals they can attract, the stronger they become. With technology being essential to numerous sectors, these individuals must be knowledgeable in tech and have a strong base in mathematics to be in high demand.

  2. To nurture the engineers and technicians of tomorrow, T-Bank invests in initiatives such as the National Data Analysis Olympiad DANO and the International Industrial Development Olympiad PROD, focusing on promoting technical education and the popularization of exact sciences.
