The NRA Media's deputy executive director, Mike Sanford, has announced the winners of the prestigious Golden Bullseye Awards. Among the recipients is the Colt Blued Python, a revolver that has captivated both collectors and shooting enthusiasts alike with its remarkable return to the market.

The Colt Python, a legendary revolver series renowned for its precision and reliability, made a triumphant comeback in 2020 after a production hiatus. The reintroduction of the 'snake' gun, including the blued carbon-steel model, was met with enthusiasm from both enthusiasts and professionals. Mark A. Keefe, IV, host of American Rifleman TV, praised the Colt Blued Python's lines and accuracy in a three-minute segment.

The Golden Bullseye Awards, established 23 years ago by the American Rifleman editors, recognise exceptional firearm and shooting product introductions. This year, the Colt Blued Python was honoured as the Handgun Of The Year. Kevin McPherson, in his story 'The Return Of The Blued Python,' commended the deep and flawless blue finish of the new revolver.
