Collaboration Signing: HT Labs and The Doers Company Agree on Strategic Pact to Bolster India-Cyprus-UAE Innovation Network
In a significant move to expand the reach of OTTplay, India's AI-powered OTT aggregator and recommendation engine, HT Labs has formed a strategic partnership with The Doers Company. This alliance is aimed at accelerating the global scaling of OTTplay, leveraging The Doers Company's extensive European innovation ecosystem.
The partnership will boost OTTplay's international footprint, particularly across Europe and the Middle East. HT Labs will utilise The Doers Company’s innovation network and expertise to drive OTTplay's presence beyond India, tapping into European markets and global OTT audiences. This collaboration enables the platform to offer scalable, AI-driven content and video solutions internationally.
Cyprus has been identified as a strategic innovation hub for this expansion. The Mediterranean island nation will serve as a launchpad for HT Labs into Europe, aligning with Cyprus’s ambitions to become a regional innovation and investment hub. The government's support for startup growth and cross-border capital flow plays a crucial role in this endeavour. Cyprus also facilitates entrepreneurship and technology exchange within the "India-Cyprus-UAE innovation corridor."
Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO) has been chosen as the testbed for cross-border digital infrastructure, media tech, and smart city initiatives. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was formalized at a high-profile event in DSO, under the aegis of Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ). Dubai's role as a high-tech urban hub provides vital infrastructure and governmental support, enabling HT Labs and The Doers Company to collaborate efficiently and scale OTTplay globally.
The partnership embodies a strategic tri-nation collaboration between India, Cyprus, and the UAE, fostering entrepreneurial exchange, innovation flow, and capital investment. The collaboration gained momentum following political and business engagements, including Indian PM Narendra Modi’s visit to Cyprus and delegation exchanges among the three countries.
