Dailymotion, the French video-sharing platform, has formed a partnership with app developer Dotscreen. This collaboration aims to extend Dailymotion Pro's advanced video infrastructure to Connected TV platforms, including Apple TV, Android TV, Samsung Tizen, and LG WebOS.

Remi Leclancher, SVP Global Supply & Enterprise Sales at Dailymotion, stated that this partnership is a natural evolution of their streaming solution capabilities. Dailymotion Pro's infrastructure includes over 400 servers, a fast-loading, screen-agnostic player, and AI-powered engagement tools.

Dotscreen, known for its customizable, multi-device TV apps, is excited about the prospect of combining its offerings with Dailymotion Pro's proven streaming technology. Stanislas Leridon, chairman of Dotscreen, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership.

Dotscreen has already made a significant impact in the streaming industry. The company is behind the TF1+ streaming app and is responsible for the development of the TF1+ app for Samsung and LG Smart TVs. Dotscreen can reach over 100 different devices, with clients such as L'Équipe already enjoying its streaming experience.

The customers of Dotscreen include prominent providers like Vodafone and TF1, for whom Dotscreen has developed customized streaming applications. The TF1+ app provides access to the TF1 Group's live TV channels and thousands of hours of content.

Media Broadcast has renewed its contract with Dotscreen for the evolution, support, and maintenance of the Freenet TV HbbTV portal. Dotscreen is also the original designer and developer of the HbbTV frontend and associated backend of the Freenet TV service.

In another development, Dailymotion Advertising has signed an agreement with RTL AdAlliance for the monetization of its video offerings. RTL AdAlliance has added Dailymotion Advertising to its growing Total Video portfolio. Dailymotion Advertising offers a proprietary video platform and video players.

This partnership between Dailymotion and Dotscreen promises to bring innovative and enhanced streaming experiences to a wider audience on various Connected TV platforms.
