As Android Authority explains, the feature, dubbed 'Client Side Detection Brand and Intent for Scam Detection,' aims to identify suspicious sites that mimic legitimate brands or attempt to steal personal information. By running the analysis locally, this AI-driven scam detection feature avoids privacy concerns associated with cloud-based solutions and could be a valuable tool for enhancing security for ordinary users.

The intent is to surpass user abilities in spotting discrepancies, including comparing a webpage's metadata with its apparent content and purpose.
