Celebrate Spring Fest to acquire exclusive themed emblems in your gameplay
Splatoon 3 is gearing up for its latest Splatfest event, the Spring Fest, starting this Friday, April 11 at 6:00 p.m. PT and running until Sunday, April 13 at 6:00 p.m. PT. This 48-hour event follows a structured schedule and format, featuring three teams per event and a series of exciting in-game battles.
For those unfamiliar, Splatfests are events for Inklings and Octolings to join one of three causes and compete in battles to champion their thoughts on questions posed. This time around, the debate revolves around productivity—whether people are most productive in the morning, noon, or night.
To participate, players can hop into Splatoon 3 and pick their favorite answer. Non-Nintendo Switch Online members will not receive themed icon elements, but they can still join the fun and earn rewards by participating. However, Nintendo Switch Online members will receive additional benefits, such as 100 Platinum Points by playing the game during the Spring Fest event.
The event is divided into four main parts:
- Splatfest Sneak Peek: Starting one week before the main event, players can join teams and earn conch shells during this period.
- Day One: The main event begins, with Deep Cut (the in-game hosts) performing Anarchy Poisons on separate floats that parade through Splatsville. Players participate in battles representing their chosen team.
- Halftime Report: After day one, team standings are announced during the Anarchy Splatcast.
- Day Two: The three floats combine into one large stage where Deep Cut performs Anarchy Rainbow. On this day, the new Tricolor Turf War mode is available for battles, where a big team defends the middle against two smaller teams on opposite sides of the map.
For Nintendo Switch Online members, visiting Nintendo Switch Online from the HOME Menu after completing the mission will allow them to receive their unique icon elements, which will be distributed by early May.
Additionally, players who own the Splatoon 3: Expansion Pass can visit Inkopolis Plaza during Splatfest, where the Squid Sisters perform special songs on different days.
