Billionaire Powerbrokers and Their Quest for Global Control: An Examination of "Controligarchs"

In a recent interview with First Things podcast, Seamus Bruner, Director of Research at the Government Accountability Institute, discussed his new book, "Controligarchs: Exposing the Billionaire Class, Their Secret Deals, and the Globalist Plot to Dominate Your Life."

Oligarchs, typically wealthy individuals with close ties to government, have been a familiar concept. Recently, the term "Big Tech oligarchs" has emerged, referring to the affluent figures in Silicon Valley. However, Controligarchs, as Bruner defines, are a distinct group aiming to exert control over every aspect of our lives.

Bruner's research reveals that these billionaires have significantly increased their wealth since the beginning of 2020, while small businesses and schools faced closures. Interestingly, this growth in wealth extends to unusual areas, such as Bill Gates' acquisition of farmland.

The concern raised by Bruner is the potential for these 'Controligarchs' to establish systems of control in various sectors, including food production, energy supply, transportation, communications, smart cities, and financial systems.

Schwab's announcement of 'The Great Reset' in July 2020, linking pandemics and climate change, may offer insight into their strategic plans. Bruner suggests that they seek to exploit crisis situations to consolidate their power and establish tyrannical control mechanisms.

The origins of the Controligarchs can be traced back to 2009 at Rockefeller University, where the Good Club - an elite group of billionaire philanthropists - convened. Members like Bill Gates, George Soros, Warren Buffett, Oprah Winfrey, David Rockefeller, and Ted Turner discussed strategies to address societal issues. However, Bruner reveals that the Good Club's primary focus at this meeting was the problem of overpopulation.

The concern over global population dominates the minds of many Controligarchs, who believe that the Earth is overpopulated. Despite a lack of conclusive evidence, these billionaires advocate for drastic reductions in the world's population, with suggestions ranging from Bill Gates' 15% reduction to Ted Turner's proposal for under 2 billion inhabitants.

Another area of concern for Controligarchs is the implementation of digital identification systems, with Bill Gates being heavily involved in various projects aimed at digitizing personal data and creating centralized databases. Such systems could potentially evolve into a Chinese-style social credit score, denying access to goods and services to those who do not comply with government mandates.

In November 2023, the 50-in-5 campaign was launched, aiming to establish digital public infrastructure in 50 countries by 2028. This initiative is a critical accelerator of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals and could potentially contribute to the Controligarchs' broader objectives of centralized control.

Listeners can access the First Things podcast titled 'Control Freaks and Billionaires' to explore these topics further. [Link to the podcast]

Controligarchs, as defined by Seamus Bruner, aim to control various sectors beyond just technology, such as food production, energy supply, and financial systems. These billionaires, like Bill Gates, are heavily involved in digital identification systems, potentially creating centralized databases that could evolve into a Chinese-style social credit score. The Controligarchs' wider objectives include centralized control, which may be accelerated by initiatives like the 50-in-5 campaign aiming to establish digital public infrastructure in 50 countries by 2028.
