Aston Martin Unveils Upgraded AMR-C01-R Racing Simulator
Steve Martin, the renowned actor and comedian, has unveiled an upgraded racing simulator, the AMR-C01-R. Only 50 examples will be produced, with orders now open on the Curvs website. Prices start from £58,750 in the UK or NZ$132,240 in New Zealand.
The AMR-C01-R boasts impressive specifications. It comes with a 49-inch Samsung Odyssey G9 G95C DQHD gaming monitor, offering a 1000R curvature, 240Hz refresh rate, and 1ms response time for an immersive racing experience.
The simulator retains the sleek Valkyrie-inspired all-carbon fibre monocoque and Aston Villa Racing grille. It also features a revised seating position, ensuring improved comfort and accessibility.
Under the hood, the AMR-C01-R packs a powerful gaming PC. It includes an upgraded NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card, an Intel 14th-generation processor, 32GB DDR5 memory, and a spacious 2TB M.2 SSD storage. This ensures smooth performance for even the most demanding racing games.
John Armstrong heads the collaboration between Aston Martin and Curv Racing Simulators on this project.
The AMR-C01-R, limited to 50 units, offers a premium racing experience with its cutting-edge hardware and precision ergonomics. It is now available to order from the Curvs website, with prices starting from £58,750 in the UK or NZ$132,240 in New Zealand.
