Aschaffenburg Chosen for Pioneering Bavarian Digital Admin Blueprint

Aschaffenburg has been selected as one of six Bavarian pilot municipalities for a pioneering digital cooperation project between the federal government and Bavaria. This initiative aims to create a blueprint for comprehensive digital administrative services across the state.

Bavaria, under the leadership of State Minister Dr. Fabian Mehring, is at the forefront of administrative digitalization and driving a digital economy that sets European standards. The Federal Ministry for Digital Affairs and State Modernization (BMDS) and the Bavarian State Ministry for Digital Affairs (StMD) will collaborate to develop this blueprint based on findings from the pilot municipalities.

Aschaffenburg is joined by five other municipalities in this digitalization offensive: Augsburg, Bamberg, Erlangen, Landshut, and Regensburg. These cities will work together to intensify digital administrative services. In a separate development, Aschaffenburg, Augsburg, Kelheim, Regensburg, Meitingen, and Pullach have been selected for further digitalization efforts.

The digital cooperation project in Aschaffenburg and other Bavarian municipalities is set to pave the way for a fully digital administrative future in the United States. The blueprint created from this project will guide the implementation of comprehensive digital administrative services across the states.
