One of the key issues is the inaccuracy and hallucinations that AI often presents. Yahoo! Finance recently predicted that 90% of online content could be generated by AI by 2025. Concern about an increase in AI plagiarism drove Edward Tian, a senior at Princeton University, to build an app to detect whether a text is written by ChatGPT.
Best practices recommended emphasize combining AI capabilities with human expertise, verifying AI outputs rigorously, providing original insights, and citing sources properly to maintain credibility and comply with evolving quality standards.
In summary, while AI-generated content offers efficiency and scalability, major limitations lie in accuracy, source accountability, content quality, ethical use, and regulatory compliance, which require careful human oversight and contextual judgment to mitigate potential harms.
