Art Deco's rhythm and essence permeate Bang & Olufsen's latest Atelier Limited Edition piece.

Freakin' Sweet: Bang & Olufsen's Art Deco Masterpiece

Bang & Olufsen's new offering, the Atelier Art Deco Limited Edition, is their latest homage to craftsmanship and innovation. This baby is stealing the show with its exclusive, bespoke division responsible for the Danish brand's special edition models.

Let's take a gander at the Atelier Art Deco Limited Edition. It's like Beolab 28 speakers, all column-y and sleek, and the Beovision Theatre TV, having a decorative scheme that screams the 1920s. Art Deco, anyone? Art Deco was the belle of the ball in the decorative world back in the day, featuring modernism and streamlining with a sophisticated edge that won many hearts - from architecture to early audio technology.

The Art Deco Limited Edition is a nod to the past, celebrating Art Deco's love of luxurious materials and clean lines. The speakers and TV use dark rosewood and chestnut-anodized aluminum, and the lamella panels on the speaker and soundbar alternate between dark and light, reminiscent of Deco's rhythmic architectural facades. The Beovision Theatre even sports a classic sunburst imagery. Only 100 units are up for grabs, and each comes with a swanky rosewood case handcrafted at Bang & Olufsen's headquarters in Struer to house the engraved chestnut aluminum Beoremote.

You ain't seen nothing yet! All aluminium surfaces are finished with precision-etched geometric motifs. Each pattern features 100 engraved strokes, nodding to Bang & Olufsen's centennial year. Bang & Olufsen CEO Kristian Teär had this to say about the edition, "This tribute is a fusion of design heritage and technical mastery, crafted to celebrate 100 years of innovation through timeless form."

This bad boy's more refined than the recent Bang & Olufsen Beosound A9 X David Bowie model. Both editions prove that Bang & Olufsen ain't shyin' away from exclusive finishes and colors, breaking out of the traditional mold of high-end audio.
