Android users now gain access to Circle's Song Search history feature, enabling them to revisit their previous song searches.

In a significant update for music enthusiasts, Google has extended the Song Search history feature to Android devices as part of the release of Google app version 16.27. This rollout, which occurred on July 17-18, 2025, brings parity with iOS users who have been enjoying this feature since February 2025.

The Song Search history feature allows Android users to view a visual history of recently identified songs within the Circle to Search interface. The update showcases album art, artist names, and the dates songs were recognized, providing a convenient way to revisit and explore music search history natively.

To access this new feature, Android users simply need to tap the music note icon in Circle to Search and then select the clock icon. This action will display the recent song searches in a grid format, supporting up to 10 entries grouped by month. For a comprehensive view of the entire history, users can opt to view their full history through Google’s My Activity page.

In addition to the Song Search history feature, the latest update to Circle to Search also includes changes such as a transparent navigation bar and a wider coverage area for text search, filling the entire screen. However, no new information about the addition of AI Mode or gaming help on iOS was provided in this update.

This expansion of the Song Search history feature to Android is great news for users who frequently use Circle to Search for their music needs. The update not only enhances the user experience but also brings Android devices in line with iOS in terms of features.
