ABB E-mobility Acquires Vourity to Strengthen EV Charging Payment Tech
ABB E-mobility, a global leader in electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions, has acquired Vourity, a Swedish startup specializing in cloud-based EV charging payment technology. The acquisition will strengthen ABB's technology stack, integrating seamless payment systems into its offerings.
Vourity's innovative solution allows users to pay for charging through pay stations or integrated directly into charging stations. The technology supports credit cards, mobile pay, and RFID tags, simplifying the EV charging payment process. Vourity's team, including Android and fintech experts, will join ABB E-mobility to develop key payments areas in EV charging.
