More than 40 states, including Texas and Montana, are now unlocking their shares of the $5 billion EV charger funding. This follows a successful legal battle to protect the program from attempts to halt its progress.

The EV charger program, part of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, has survived challenges. Initially, Trump's agencies tried to freeze the funds, but a federal court ruled this illegal. Despite criticism from President Trump during his campaign, the program continues to gain momentum. At least 32 states have received approval to access the funds, with more expected to follow. The program's future looks secure, given the increasing number of EVs on the road in the coming years.

The EV charger program is moving forward, with states now accessing their funds. Despite past attempts to halt its progress, the program is expected to continue due to the growing demand for electric vehicles.
